Lausanne launches WISE, the first ever International Convention for Career Development in Sports

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 25, 2013 – SINERGI Sports Consulting and MCH Beaulieu Lausanne SA are pleased to announce the first edition of « WISE – Work In Sports Exhibition » to be held at Beaulieu Lausanne in Switzerland on May 7 - 8, 2014.

WISE aims to foster career management by offering a 360° sharing platform to leaders of today and tomorrow, as well as elite and former athletes entering the business world.

Bringing together leading personalities of the sport’s world, this international convention will present the various sport’s professions, their market evolution, trends and related educational systems. Peers from different industries will be invited to share knowledge, exchange ideas, broaden networks, strengthen relationships and create new business and career opportunities.

Mr. Patrice Iseli, Sports Department’s Director, City of Lausanne, welcomes the sports leaders of today and tomorrow to the Olympic capital: « Lausanne has won international renown as a premier sports destination and this new fixture in our packed calendar is further evidence of the city’s appeal to the international sports community. »

The Forum programme will focus on the key theme of career management including more than 60 interdisciplinary conferences, workshops and round tables discussions with sport’s professionals of different backgrounds. An animation’s corner will also propose simulations of sport’s professions with real “actors”, live assessments or recruitments, career-related live trainings (leadership, group motivation, speaking in public, etc.) and many others.
